Boat Rental

TAYC encourages racing families to purchase their own boats for the sailors' use. However, the club has a limited number of Optimists & C420s available to rent. Rentals are on a first come, first served basis upon the club's receipt of a completed rental agreement. For C420 Rentals, pricing is per sailor.

Rental Fees:

• Opti - Beginner/Club Opti: $175 per week
• Intermediate/Race/Advanced Opti: $200 per week
• C420 - Beginner/Club 420: $175 per week, per sailor or Intermediate/Race/Advanced 420: $200 per week, per sailor

J-TAYC Junior Membership is required for all Non-Members of TAYC. J-TAYC membership is $50 per individual child. (This requirement does not apply to grandchildren of TAYC members if fees are charged to the member’s account).

Discounts and Required Memberships

Bring a Friend - If sailors refer a new sailor to TAYC, that sailor gets a $100 discount for each referral (i.e., each NEW sailor). The discount applies to sailors who are new to TAYC (i.e., have not registered for a TAYC course previously) and not a sibling of the current sailor.

Family Discount - Families with more than one sibling signed up get a 10% discount on their families total tuition.

Early Bird - All prices increase by 1% on March 1st, 2% on April 1st, 5% on May 1st and 15% on June 1st.
Please note: your registration is not final until all forms and payments are completed, you will be charged at the proper tuition rate given the date that you electronically complete all of your required forms and full payment has been made. **Registrations with missing forms and/or payments will be canceled on 6/9. **

Note: There will be no camp on July 3rd or 4th - - Sailors signed up for Club Team the week of July 3rd will get an extra day of coaching at the TAYC Junior Regatta on Saturday, July 8th.
