The Oxford Amateur Racing Series (O.A.R.S) focuses on fun and the spirit of competition. O.A.R.S is open to both TAYC Members and non-member skippers sailing a monohull with a minimum overall length of 18 feet.

TAYC celebrates the end of the season with an awards dinner and recognition of the top winners in each division, as well as the winning female skipper race. Winners are honored on the "Great Oars" in the clubhouse entryway.

• Fleets are scored in two divisions: spinnaker and non-spinnaker
• Races are held on the Tred Avon & starts are held off the Tred Avon Yacht Club at R-2 on Friday evenings beginning in May and ending in late September.  
• To take advantage of the summertime light, start time is 1800, then 1730 as the days get shorter in September. 
• OARS management transitioned to TAYC in 2022. Note that OARS is not considered a YC Regatta Event.
