Rebecca Leffingwell

Rebecca is a Talbot County native and has deep roots with TAYC’s Junior Sailing Program. She was a student, sailing Optimists, Lasers and 420s, from 2003 to 2010. She returned as an instructor for the Introduction to Sailing Course in 2018 and 2019, and also acted as assistant Junior Sailing Director in 2019. Rebecca has worked extensively with kids having been a lifeguard, swim instructor and sailing instructor since high school. Rebecca graduated from Salisbury University in 2017 and has spent the last two years working at schools in Madrid, teaching English to Primary and Middle School students. As Director, Rebeca will focus on providing our younger sailors with strong fundamental skills and is excited for another great summer!
